About the Role

As a Maintenance Planner / Scheduler, you are at the heart of maintenance execution. You ensure that work requests are translated into high-quality work packages and that maintenance schedules are realistic, optimized, and executed on time. Acting as the key link between Maintenance, Operations, and other stakeholders, you help improve plant reliability and overall performance.

This role suits someone who enjoys structure, ownership, and making a measurable impact in a complex industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and communicate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules

• Convert maintenance notifications and PMs into complete work packages and work orders

• Optimize resources (people, materials, and tools) for efficient execution

• Chair and facilitate planning and scheduling meetings

• Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering

• Monitor KPIs such as schedule compliance, utilization, backlog, and break-ins

• Perform quality checks on work packages within SAP PM

• Identify and implement improvements in planning and scheduling processes

Your Profile

• Technical vocational education (MBO level)

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and/or scheduling

• Experience with SAP PM and scheduling tools such as Primavera and/or Prometheus

• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Proactive, structured, and improvement-oriented mindset
