About the Role
You will be responsible for managing absence cases and guiding employees through the entire sickness and reintegration process in line with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter. Acting as the central point of contact for employees, managers, and plant managers, you will ensure compliance, provide clear advice, and drive solutions that support both the individual and the organisation. You will also contribute to improvement projects and advise on strategies to reduce absenteeism.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end absence cases from the first day of sickness through reintegration and WIA/IVA applications.
- Act as the primary contact for all questions regarding absence and reintegration.
- Conduct regular absence meetings and translate occupational health advice into actionable steps.
- Support managers and employees throughout the process, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Provide input for internal projects aimed at improving absence management and prevention.
- Maintain accurate documentation and system updates in line with internal governance.
- Collaborate with HR, plant management, occupational health, and back-office specialists.
Requirements
- HBO-level education and registered Casemanager certification (CROV or RCCM/RCMC).
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with strong knowledge of Wet Verbetering Poortwachter.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Accurate, pragmatic, and highly organised with strong planning skills.
- Experience in a large international organisation.
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Preferred: Experience with Visma.

- Hybrid working model (Amersfoort base, weekly visits to Leeuwarden).
- Flexible hours from 32-38 per week
