About the Role
This position supports warehouse operations by managing incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accurate order processing, and maintaining organised storage systems. The role requires precision, speed, and a strong ability to follow established procedures to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks, check in merchandise, and match purchase orders to sales orders for processing.
- Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, and shipping instructions to determine required items.
- Move materials from receiving or storage areas to shipping or designated locations.
- Sort and place items on racks, shelves, or bins according to size, type, style, colour, or product code.
- File requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute items to appropriate areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Requirements
- Prior experience with spreadsheets and databases.
- Proficient in Dutch and English
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with moderate supervision.
- Physical capability to handle warehouse tasks (lifting, moving items).
- Basic understanding of inventory and stock management processes.
Other Information
Standard working hours with potential for overtime during peak periods.
