Role Description
As an OTC Account Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of customers and oversee the complete order fulfillment process for domestic and export markets. Your role involves processing orders, verifying product availability, coordinating transportation and delivery, and ensuring accurate invoicing. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving customer and operational issues, while maintaining strong knowledge of products, manufacturing, and logistics. Additionally, you will act as a reliable backup for other business units and become a trusted resource for operational challenges. 

Responsibilities

  • Delivering exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to inquiries, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term value for the company.
  • Maintaining and improving knowledge of procedures, quality standards, and governance; identifying and addressing gaps in processes.
  • Acting as the main liaison between Planning, Sales, Business, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient and effective customer support.
  • Providing backup support across all business units and serving as a go-to person for operational issues.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, planners, finance, and supply chain partners.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, governance standards, and ethical practices.
  • Verifying and updating Customer Master Data in SAP to guarantee accurate deliveries, invoicing, and communication. 

Requirements

  • College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1–2 years in Customer Service and/or Supply Chain.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and German (mandatory).
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to innovate and continuously learn.
  • Understanding of the Order-to-Cash process and related business workflows.
  • Full-time (40 hours/week), with up to 2 remote workdays.
