Role Overview
As an Advanced Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and optimising automated systems and equipment within a GMP-regulated environment. This position involves advanced troubleshooting, technical documentation, and collaboration across multiple departments to ensure smooth operations and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform advanced maintenance and operations on electrical, fabrication, construction, and Level 3/4 computerised systems.
-Ensure minimal impact to facility and plant operations while maintaining compliance with GMP, SOPs, and regulatory codes.
-Complete accurate documentation of work orders and maintain GMP records.
-Participate in technical and corporate training programmes; maintain updated SOP and GMP training materials.
-Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for production facilities and related equipment.
-Interpret and revise technical drawings; assist with start-up and commissioning of new equipment.
-Develop and review technical documents; may assume lead responsibilities within the team.
-Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and collaborate effectively across departments.
Requirements
- MBO+ level achieved through education, training, and experience.
-Minimum 5 years in one or more of the following:
-Automated Material Handling Systems
-Warehousing Control Systems
-Level 3/4 Computerised Systems
-Automation Technology
-Strong knowledge of software engineering combined with mechanical/electrical engineering.
-Extensive expertise in automated material handling systems and methods.
-Fluency in English (oral and written).
-Knowledge of GMP and compliance standards.
-Familiarity with production automation, electrical, and mechanical systems.
-Ability to provide technical guidance and lead team activities.
