Role description
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will support, improve, and maintain production processes within the Manufacturing Department. This role is based in the MR Factory and involves implementing projects and sustaining ongoing operations.
Key responsibilities
- Write work instructions, monitor and maintain devices and tooling, and train employees.
- Implement and maintain production processes.
- Provide structural solutions through problem reports (PR) and 8D methodology.
- Lead escalations regarding production issues in collaboration with development and stakeholders.
- Ensure maximum yield and minimal disturbances in production.
- Prepare and introduce product changes via Life Cycle Management and Modify Launched Design.
- Participate as an expert in audits.
- Support New Product Introductions and execute process validation.
- Conduct root cause analysis for DEFOA/MOA and implement solutions.
- Analyse performance data using Six Sigma and SPC.
- Define and lead improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical, Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, Sciences, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering within a high-tech industry.
- Hands-on mentality, accuracy, and strong documentation skills.
- Independent, proactive, and ownership-driven.
- Experience with SAP (MES), Windchill, and basic OT/IT knowledge.
- Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA requirements, audits, FMEA, 8D, SPC).
- Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
