About the Company
An international organization within the food sector is seeking a Global Mobility Advisor to support its global workforce. The company operates in a highly international environment and manages employee assignments, relocations, and cross-border movements across multiple regions. The Global Mobility team consists of a Global Mobility Manager, a Global Mobility Compliance Manager, and two Global Mobility Advisors. This opening is to provide temporary coverage during maternity leave.

Role Description
As a Global Mobility Advisor, you will play a key role in coordinating international assignments, relocations, and cross-border employment activities. You will support employees throughout the mobility process, ensure compliance with global immigration and tax regulations, and act as a trusted partner to HR, business leaders, and other stakeholders. This position requires strong communication skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise employees on relocation, immigration, and assignment processes.
  • Support assignees and their families with housing, schooling, and cultural integration.
  • Ensure compliance with global immigration, tax, and social security regulations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors including relocation companies, immigration firms, and tax advisors.
  • Collaborate with HR, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Finance on international assignment planning and execution.
  • Manage the full assignment lifecycle: pre-departure, on-assignment, repatriation, and permanent transfers.
  • Prepare assignment cost estimates, net assignment salary calculations, and payroll instructions.
  • Track mobility metrics, maintain documentation, and prepare reports for leadership.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in global mobility, immigration, or international HR.
  • Strong knowledge of international tax, immigration, and employment regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong global mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with relocation vendors or global mobility platforms is a plus.
  • Management expertise is an advantage.
  • English fluency is mandatory; Dutch is a plus.
  • Strong stakeholder management, cultural awareness, and adaptability.
