Job Description
As an experienced Indirect Procurement Specialist you will join the local procurement team. This role will support two manufacturing sites, focusing on indirect categories such as maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), as well as facilities management. The successful candidate will be based onsite in Oss, with occasional travel to Heist-op-den-Berg, working within a collaborative environment to optimize procurement processes and ensure company needs are met efficiently.
 
Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities for indirect procurement categories, ensuring timely and cost-effective supplier selection.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and develop strategies for supplier improvement.
  • Prepare, present, and execute sourcing strategies aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Lead negotiations of contracts and manage supplier agreements, maintaining strong supplier relationships.
  • Analyze local procurement data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans and support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and develop suitable strategies.
  • Apply basic project management principles to ongoing procurement projects when needed.
 
Requirements
  • Fluent in Dutch (mandatory).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a complex indirect procurement environment.
  • Previous experience in facilities management or highly regulated industries such as pharma is preferred.
  • Strong sourcing skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Good analytical skills and experience with data analysis.
  • Ability to assess financial risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Ability to work fully onsite and travel between the two locations.
