About the Role
As a Maintenance Planner, you’ll be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and optimising maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient operations. You’ll work closely with technicians, contractors, and production teams to plan and execute work orders, manage resources, and improve preventive maintenance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Define scope, duration, cost, and materials for maintenance tasks.
- Prepare safety procedures and request quotes for materials or external services.
- Coordinate with internal and external technicians to allocate work.
- Monitor availability of ordered/reserved materials.
- Adjust planning based on daily operational updates.
- Lead daily start meetings and guide technicians during job execution.
- Analyse incoming work and prioritise with production.
- Manage work permits and ensure compliance.
- Track progress of work orders and adjust schedules as needed.
- Administer service records, hours, parts, and invoices.
- Maintain technical documentation and supplier contracts.
- Standardise recurring tasks and propose improvements for preventive maintenance.
Requirements
- Minimum MBO level 4 or HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Technical Business Administration.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role within the process industry.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods (WCOM, LEAN, Six Sigma).
- Experience with maintenance systems like Ultimo, SAP, RCM, or TPM.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.
- Strong analytical, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
