The client is part of the global pharmaceutical company. The facility is focused on the development and manufacturing of biologic medicines, particularly in the fields of immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases. They specialize in producing large-scale biologic drugs, which are typically made from living cells and are used to treat complex diseases.
Role Description
We are seeking a Process Engineer that will sit at the core of manufacturing operations, focusing on optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Process Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with strategic production goals.
Responsibilities
- Leading and enhancing production and support processes to improve performance and reliability.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement new systems and refine existing operations.
- Monitoring and validating processes to ensure they meet regulatory standards and yield expectations.
- Analyzing data and generating reports to support ongoing process improvements.
- Driving risk mitigation strategies related to safety, quality, and compliance.
- Managing change control and product impact assessments from initiation to completion.
- Conducting Gemba walks to identify and implement sustainable improvements.
- Supporting Continuous Process Verification (CPV) through data gathering and analysis.
- Promoting leadership values and Credo in daily operations.
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Dutch (A2) and English (C1).
- Solid skills in MS Office, data analysis, and business applications.
- 5-8 years experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- DSP operations process engineering experience.
- NPI tech transfer knowledge.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and think creatively.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently or within a team.
- Resilient under pressure, adaptable to changing priorities, and committed to continuous learning.
