About the Role
As a QA Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality culture and overall performance of the can factory. You will lead initiatives to improve quality awareness, systems, and controls, while training and inspiring employees to prioritize quality in everything they do. This is a hands-on role that requires strong collaboration, analytical insight, and the ability to drive lasting improvements on the production floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement active quality communication programs across teams.
- Improve quality knowledge and training for production employees.
- Drive digital registration and reporting of quality control data.
- Evaluate and optimize specifications, standards, and test methods.
- Lead quality improvement projects and ensure follow-up on deviations.
- Collaborate closely with production, technology, and QC teams to achieve targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in a technical or food-related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in quality management or process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and process optimization methods.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage teams.
- Fluency in Dutch and good command of English (spoken & written).
