Job Description
As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you are responsible for designing, reviewing, and supporting electrical installations in a regulated pharmaceutical environment. You ensure that all systems meet cGMP, biosafety, safety, and operational standards, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and external contractors to deliver compliant and reliable infrastructure for cleanroom and biotech facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and validate electrical systems for pharma/biotech production
- Lead projects from concept to execution under cGMP/biosafety standards
- Prepare cost estimates, tender packages, and review quotations
- Define requirements and ensure technical/specification compliance
- Produce and maintain AutoCAD drawings and project documentation
- Coordinate suppliers/contractors and manage project scope changes
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical design within pharma/biotech/food
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, biosafety, and cleanroom principles
- Proven experience in project and stakeholder management
- Proficient with AutoCAD and applicable standards
- Strong documentation and coordination skills
- Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)
