Role Description
As a Maintenance Scheduler, you will play a key role in ensuring reliable and efficient plant operations by developing, coordinating, and optimizing maintenance plans within a complex production environment. Your work directly supports equipment reliability, safety performance, and production continuity, while also driving data accuracy and process efficiency. You will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with production goals and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities based on work orders, inspection results, and reliability strategies.
- Coordinate resources such as technicians, contractors, materials, and spare parts in cooperation with production, warehouse, and maintenance management.
- Work with operations and engineering to plan maintenance windows and optimize equipment uptime.
- Maintain and update maintenance data in the CMMS (SAP), ensuring accuracy and traceability of all performed work.
- Support turnaround and shutdown planning, contributing to long-term maintenance and reliability strategies.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- MBO+/HBO degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of experience in maintenance planning or scheduling within the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, or process industry.
- Proficiency with CMMS systems (preferably SAP) and experience in work preparation and job execution coordination.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance techniques and asset reliability concepts.
- Familiarity with industrial safety systems and procedures (e.g., ATEX, Permit to Work, LOTOTO).
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work across departments and manage multiple priorities.
