About the Role
As a Construction Project Engineer, you will oversee the design and execution of construction-related investment projects at two key sites. You’ll provide technical support, coach engineering teams, and ensure all activities meet regulatory and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities during execution phase in coordination with PM and site construction manager.
- Coach & guide engineering teams to ensure compliance with GxP and non-GxP standards.
- Review technical documentation from suppliers and engineering teams.
- Track project timelines and manage scope changes (more/less work).
- Monitor and assess contractor work, including interim deliverables.
- Independently design investment projects in line with regulations.
- Instruct and oversee contractors involved in project execution.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on site.
- Manage external engineering firms.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience and 5 years as a construction specialist.
- HBO+/academic level in Architecture or Construction Engineering.
- Strong affinity with mechanical and electrical engineering.
- Broad technical knowledge across disciplines.
- Structured and accurate work approach.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
