Role Description
As a Laboratory Data Project Lead you will play a key role in driving digital transformation initiatives. You’ll be part of a global team focused on advancing biotherapeutic drug development and production. Your mission is to enhance digital maturity and enable fully connected laboratory environments by implementing innovative digital solutions that support scientific excellence and operational efficiency. 

Responsibilities

  • Leading the deployment of digital tools and platforms, including system integration, data capture, and analytics solutions.
  • Managing project intake processes, developing detailed plans, overseeing budgets, and allocating resources effectively.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, communicating progress, and addressing risks proactively.
  • Fostering collaboration across departments to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Preparing and approving technical documentation, including reports and validation materials.
  • Serving as the primary contact for data integrity and cybersecurity assessments, initiating corrective actions as needed.
  • Acting as the technical owner for assigned digital systems, ensuring their reliability and compliance. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in digital technology, data systems, or similar fields.
  • Practical knowledge of industrial data historians, system integration, and lab automation.
  • Familiarity with analytics and visualization platforms, and experience in deploying digital solutions.
  • Understanding of data integrity and cybersecurity principles.
  • Programming experience in Python or R is advantageous.
  • Prior exposure to biopharma and regulated environments (GxP/GLP) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to convey technical information and project updates clearly.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams and build productive relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities for complex technical challenges.
  • Adaptability to evolving technologies and fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Positive interpersonal skills to foster a cooperative and inclusive work culture.
