Our client, a leading industrial organization in the Netherlands, is seeking a talented Project Manager to join their Site Engineering department in Boxmeer.

Job Description 
As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the implementation of various projects and studies that support the business objectives of multiple departments.

Responsibilities:

• Leading cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and maintaining high performance among technical professionals.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as plant operations, quality department, EHS, procurement, and IT.
• Managing external partners including design firms, engineering partners, equipment suppliers, and contractor companies.
• Utilizing knowledge of capital project phases to plan and execute work effectively during each stage.
• Identifying opportunities for innovative improvements to enhance facility, equipment, and controls design for operational excellence.
• Implementing safety measures to establish an injury-free workplace and ensuring safety during construction.
• Understanding procurement practices, participating in equipment vendor selection, and managing contracts for compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conducting studies, applying Capital Management Process and Lean Six Sigma methods, and providing consulting on ongoing projects and existing business operations.
• Applying engineering principles and regulatory policies to optimize facility design and construction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (PE, MS, MBA, Ph.D., or similar advanced degree preferred).
• 10-15 years of experience in high-tech engineering and construction to manage capital investment projects.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical/biotech environment, particularly in GMP, is highly desirable.
• Results-driven mindset with a focus on delivering projects within set timelines, budgets, and quality standards while meeting safety requirements.
• Strong leadership skills, interpersonal abilities, and analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
