Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join their vibrant Mechanical Engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of product development for grooming and beauty appliances, from initial concept through to mass production, ensuring the mechanical design aligns with both technical and market requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical systems for shavers, groomers, epilators, IPL and related devices
- Create 3D/2D designs with proper material and process selection
- Perform engineering analyses (FEA/CFD) to validate designs
- Build and test prototypes, translate findings into design improvements
- Ensure DFM/DFA and cost-effective, repeatable production
- Manage requirements, DFMEA, documentation and design traceability
- Work closely with electronics, UX, mechatronics and manufacturing teams
- Lead ideation, concept evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
- 3–5 years in mass-production product development (consumer electronics preferred)
- Skilled in Siemens NX or Creo; plastics and metals design knowledge
- Experience with FEA/CFD, tolerance analysis, DFM/DFA and tooling
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and documentation discipline
- DFMEA / DFSS exposure; medical device experience is a plus
