Role Description
As a Facility Management Associate, you will join the Hard Services Maintenance Team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems and technical installations. Your work will involve maintaining HVAC and electrical systems, conducting safety checks, performing minor repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
 
Responsibilities

• Perform technical and structural maintenance to keep office and laboratory facilities operational and safe.
• Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions in technical installations.
• Log and process service requests in facility management systems.
• Conduct safety and compliance checks, including legionella inspections.
• Supervise external technicians and support maintenance projects.
• Manage tools, materials, and inventory for repairs and maintenance.
• Support facility-related projects, internal moves, and event setups.
• Participate in the on-call duty team outside of regular working hours.

• MBO-level education in a technical field.
• VCA VOL certification.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.
• Background in facility or technical support.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach.
• Good command of Dutch and English (spoken and written).
• Proficiency with MS Office and facility management tools.
