About the Role
As a Compliance Engineer (Calibration Management), you will ensure that all measuring and control equipment within the organization meets internal, industry, and regulatory standards (GMP, ISO, FDA). You’ll be responsible for maintaining a robust calibration management system, supporting audits, and continuously improving compliance processes to guarantee operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the calibration program for all critical measuring instruments

Develop, maintain, and optimize procedures in line with GMP, ISO, and internal standards

Perform risk analyses and impact assessments for equipment deviations or changes

Provide documentation and support during audits and inspections

Collaborate with QA, Production, and Engineering to ensure full compliance

Monitor and interpret relevant regulations (e.g., BRL, NEN, ISO, ATEX, PED, WBDA, ARBO)

Track and report KPIs and trends related to calibration and compliance
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related technical field

Minimum 6 years of experience in a regulated environment (pharma, food, or chemical industry)

In-depth knowledge of calibration principles and standards (GMP, ISO 17025)

Experience with calibration/maintenance systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or Beamex CMX

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Fluent in Dutch and English
