The Company
Our client is a global healthcare/innovative medicines organization operating advanced therapeutic and analytical development labs in the Netherlands. They work within regulated GMP environments focused on quality, compliance and scientific excellence.

Role Overview
We are hiring a Lab Technician — Advanced Therapeutics, Analytical Development (QCD Labs) based in Leiden. This hands-on role supports release and stability testing, assay execution, cell culture, and routine lab operations to ensure high-quality data and compliant batch release activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform release & stability testing on GMP/TOX and clinical batches.
- Execute routine analytical and biological assays (HPLC/UPLC, ELISA, PCR).
- Conduct cell culture tasks (passaging, seeding of A549, HEK293).
- Maintain accurate documentation: assay run sheets (ARS), ELN entries, lab notebooks, equipment logs.
- Support assay qualifications and process development testing.
- Maintain qualified lab equipment and participate in utility/environmental monitoring.
- Write/update test instructions, work instructions and equipment SOPs.

Requirements
Must-have
- MBO or HBO diploma in a life-science discipline.
- Minimum ~2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory environment.
- Hands-on experience with analytical assays (HPLC/ELISA/PCR) and/or cell culture.
- Good English (spoken and written); Dutch desirable.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work in a GMP environment.
- Familiarity with laboratory management systems (LIMS / ELN).
Nice-to-have
- Direct experience with GMP/TOX/clinical batch testing.
- Prior work in Advanced Therapeutics / ATMP / viral vector or cell therapy labs.
- Certifications in aseptic technique, biosafety (BSL-2), or formal GMP training.
