Role description
As Project Manager within the Supply Chain Commercialisation team, you will lead Design to Value (DtV) projects focused on optimizing product cost and maximizing value. You will act as the central link between commercial needs and internal or external production capabilities, working closely with departments such as R&D, QA, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain. This role requires strong project management expertise and the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and execution.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of DtV and renovation projects, from initiation to execution.
- Ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery of project objectives (OTIF).
- Prepare CAPEX requests and business cases in collaboration with expert team members.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and updates in Principal Toolbox.
- Manage stakeholder relationships across business units and functions.
- Support commercial business units in Europe and occasionally outside the region.
- Drive process improvements and ensure high-quality implementation.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of experience in the FMCG industry with a proven track record in project management.
- Strong understanding of product and packaging development processes.
- Knowledge of customer supply chains and internal/external production networks.
- Experience in business planning and implementation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Coaching capabilities and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Basic financial management knowledge.
- High level of accountability, flexibility, and a pragmatic mindset.
- Energetic and entrepreneurial “can-do” mentality.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
