Role Description
As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee global warehousing and distribution processes, ensuring compliance with GxP/GMP and quality management systems. You will own SOPs, work instructions, and training content, manage business continuity plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, documentation, and auditing of Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) for warehousing and distribution activities, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Collaborate with Business Process Owners to align SOPs with warehousing quality requirements and coordinate stakeholder engagement.
- Act as the owner and editor of all Global Warehousing SOPs and WIs within the Controlled Document Management System (CDOCS).
- Participate in internal audits related to warehousing and distribution processes.
- Author and revise the Warehouse Global Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Business Impact Analysis (BIA), contributing to the Business Continuity Team.
- Develop and oversee global warehousing training content, learning activities, qualifications, and documentation.
- Manage training documentation and content in the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries.
- Basic GMP knowledge and experience.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems, preferably SAP EWM.
- Strong skills in business process modeling and technical documentation, including SOPs and WIs.
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and standards.
