Role Description
As a Category Procurement Manager for General Packaging, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing global procurement strategies for packaging materials such as pallets, labels, sleeves, and containers. You will drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and innovation across a €80M spend portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and tender processes
- Manage key supplier relationships and drive performance
- Coordinate cost models, budget planning, and supply risk mitigation
- Drive sustainability and innovation through supplier partnerships
- Align with stakeholders across global operations and procurement teams
- Act as the subject matter expert for your category
Requirements
- University degree (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, or related)
- 5+ years of experience in packaging procurement, preferably in a multinational
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Commercial, analytical, and pragmatic mindset
- Experience in SRM, cost modeling, and strategic sourcing
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
