Purpose of the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced professional to take functional ownership of SAP and related Quality Control (QC) systems. The role bridges IT and Supply Chain, ensuring seamless system functionality, accurate reporting, and strong user support to optimize quality management processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Functional Management: Oversee SAP and related QC applications, ensuring proper use, documentation, data consistency, and 2nd line support.
  • SAP Key User: Act as key liaison for new functionalities, system changes, RFCs, and user access/security. Coordinate with SAP AM/ICT suppliers to align system solutions with business needs.
  • QC Reporting: Design and manage QC reports using SAP, MES, Vantage Point, and related software. Provide ad-hoc reports in case of quality incidents.
  • Projects & Testing: Participate in ICT and QC-related projects, defining acceptance tests, creating test scripts, and supporting implementation across locations.
  • Training & Support: Guide and train end-users, ensuring effective adoption and correct use of QC systems and reports.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong background in IT and Supply Chain.
  • Proven expertise in functional management of SAP (SAP 400, GSS, PLM, EWM) and QC-related software (MES, Vantage Point, Interspec, Star LIMS).
  • Skilled in report building (Excel, Minitab, etc.) and system testing/implementation.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, user support, and training delivery.
  • Knowledge of change control management and project management.
