About the Role
As a MES & SAP Integration Specialist, you’ll be responsible for managing SAP and related software tools used in QC processes. You’ll work closely with QC teams, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure systems run smoothly, reports are accurate, and users are supported. This role combines IT and supply chain knowledge, and offers a mix of operational support and project involvement.
Responsibilities
- Manage SAP and related QC software (MES, Star LIMS, Vantage Point) to ensure proper functionality and data consistency.
- Provide second-line support when key users can’t resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to SAP Application Management.
- Act as SAP Key User, staying informed on new releases, coordinating changes, and assessing user needs.
- Write functional designs, evaluate RFCs, and coordinate system updates with internal and external stakeholders.
- Control access and security of QC applications, and support onboarding and training of users.
- Build and maintain QC reports using data from SAP and other systems, in tools like Excel and Minitab.
- Provide ad hoc reporting during quality incidents to support decision-making.
- Participate in cross-site ICT projects, including testing and implementation of new releases.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in SAP functional management, ideally in a QC or supply chain setting.
- Strong understanding of software systems used in manufacturing and quality (SAP PLM, SAP EWM, MES, Star LIMS).
- Background in IT and supply chain, with a degree in (Business) Informatics, Business Administration, or similar.
- Experience with change control, project management, and software testing.
- Proficient in Dutch (preferred) and English (required).
