About Our Client

The Role

As SHE Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing SHE policies with the goal of minimizing safety, health, and environmental risks. You’ll be the driving force behind creating a safe and compliant workplace, while also ensuring continuous improvement in processes and culture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Translating SHE policy into operational plans and KPI’s, monitoring and reporting progress.
• Drafting and implementing procedures in collaboration with production management.
• Managing accident registration, performing root cause analyses, and following up on corrective actions.
• Leading internal SHE audits, coordinating external audits, and supporting inspections by authorities.
• Coordinating emergency response (BHV) training, drills, and acting as Head of BHV.
• Acting as Preventiemedewerker and advising on safety aspects in projects.
• Managing Risk Inventories & Evaluations (RI&E’s) and ensuring updates where required.
• Providing SHE-related training and instruction to employees.
• Serving as the key contact for external bodies (e.g. Arbodienst, Fire Department).
• Delivering management information and SHE performance reporting.

Your Profile

• HBO work and thinking level – completed MBO Safety Science with 8–10 years’ relevant experience, or HBO Safety Science with 4–6 years’ experience.
• Proven expertise in SHE management and compliance, ideally within a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of SHE legislation, audits, and safety processes.
• Confident communicator, able to build trust and align with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive, hands-on, and able to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.
