The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering robust and accurate demand forecasts that serve as the foundation for decision-making in the Benelux. By combining category market intelligence with insights from Sales and Marketing, you will provide rolling forecasts that directly influence supply chain and production planning. You will also drive continuous improvements through data analysis, automation, and visualization.
Responsibilities
-Own the full-term demand forecast (base & promotional) for Benelux across an 18-month rolling horizon.
-Focus on the 2–6 month forecast window to deliver accurate and actionable insights.
-Act as the driver of demand volume forecasts in the S&OP process (Business Forecast Process).
-Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, Trade Category Management, Supply Chain, and Performance Managers.
-Ensure forecasts support flawless product launches and align with market dynamics.
-Translate business intelligence into actionable forecasts to support decision-making.
-Analyze forecasts to improve predictive models and accuracy.
-Lead and support automation projects to streamline processes and reduce costs.
-Build scripts, monitor data quality, and create automated workflows.
-Visualize insights through tools such as Power BI or Google Data Studio.
-Simplify processes and drive efficiencies across teams.
Requirements
-Operational experience in Supply Chain or Sales (preferred).
-FMCG experience is a plus.
-Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and new technology developments.
-Experience with scripting/programming languages (preferred).
-Basic knowledge of databases and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Studio).
-Language skills: English fluency required; Dutch fluency is an advantage.
