To strengthen their team, they are now looking for a skilled professional to take on a key coordinating role.

About the Position
We are hiring a Maintenance Coordinator. In this role, you will act as the bridge between production and maintenance, ensuring that maintenance requests are properly assessed, prioritized, and executed. You’ll play a vital part in keeping operations running smoothly by coordinating schedules, managing backlogs, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders. This is a permanent opportunity due to an upcoming retirement, though temporary staffing may also be considered in the meantime.

Responsibilities

  • Convert notifications from production into clear work orders.
  • Align priorities and schedules with production leaders and maintenance teams.
  • Manage the backlog of work and prepare weekly maintenance plans.
  • Lead daily and weekly planning meetings to keep activities on track.
  • Coordinate emergency repairs, planned shutdowns, and required inspections.
  • Ensure safe handover of equipment before and after maintenance work.
Requirements
  • Higher vocational education (HBO) level or equivalent experience.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in complex installations or machinery.
  • Previous experience in a similar coordination role, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage priorities across multiple teams.
