About the Position
As a Site Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in managing and safeguarding environmental compliance at the production site. You will be responsible for monitoring performance, preparing reports and permit applications, and raising environmental awareness across teams. In this role, you will not only ensure regulatory compliance but also actively contribute to long-term sustainability goals by supporting investment projects and advising on complex environmental challenges.
Responsibilities
- Prepare environmental documentation such as permit applications, reports, and management reviews.
- Develop and execute audit plans, conduct audits, and follow up on findings with actionable improvements.
- Monitor environmental performance against permits and provide clear reporting to management.
- Improve and maintain compliance management systems.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology and Operations teams to initiate and implement projects that further enhance environmental performance.
- Provide proactive and advisory support on topics such as noise, air, water, soil, and waste.
- A completed technical Master’s degree, preferably with an environmental focus.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to compliance.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, driven, able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.
