Role Description
As Strategic Finance Manager, you will lead and support the financial delivery of major transformation programs and strategic M&A projects across the European Foods portfolio. You will be accountable for driving cost savings, enabling leaner portfolios, and ensuring smooth execution of carve-outs and transitions. This role requires a strategic mindset, operational finance expertise, and strong stakeholder influence skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead the financial delivery of major transformation initiatives and M&A projects across the European Foods portfolio.
- Translate transformation projects into actionable financial plans impacting the P&L.
- Manage budgets (Capex and restructuring) while ensuring robust financial control and governance.
- Oversee financial execution of brand carve-outs, including P&L reporting, inventory, TSA charging, and transition activities.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery of transformation and M&A activities.
- Partner with senior leadership, finance teams, and external consultants to align on strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Professional finance qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA); MBA or Master’s degree preferred.
- 7–9 years of experience in finance, operations, or business partnering (ideally in SC, FP&A, or M&A).
- Strong knowledge of P&L, financial controls, and forecasting processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines with a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and proven ability to influence at senior levels.
