Our client is a global biotechnology leader driven by a clear mission to serve patients. At their packaging operations site in the Breda region, the Product Development team introduces new products and technologies while ensuring smooth, reliable day-to-day operations.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Project Process Engineer who can support daily operations as a trusted advisor and also lead longer-term projects across new product introductions, packaging materials, and process improvements in a GMP environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Lead new product introductions/transfers to packaging lines, incl. testing, characterization, sample creation, and readiness analyses.
-Evaluate, recommend, and qualify new packaging materials.
-Monitor processes, analyse data, investigate issues, and implement durable solutions.
-Author protocols, perform technical evaluations, and write technical assessment reports.
-Present packaging ideas and improvements to cross-functional teams.
-Support regulatory inspections (e.g., FDA/EMA) and collaborate with QA, Validation, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, and Manufacturing.
-Deliver projects on time and communicate progress to stakeholders and senior management.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or related field.
-5+ years’ experience with packaging materials in pharma or another highly regulated industry.
-Strong knowledge of GMP, process monitoring, and validation.
-Proven experience with new product introduction/technology transfer.
-Excellent communication skills; able to lead cross-functional workstreams.
-Proactive, hands-on problem solver with stakeholder management strength.
