Role Description
As a Packing Machine Operator, you will be involved in the packaging of human medicines using fully automated packaging lines. Your role includes machine setup and changeovers, resolving malfunctions, performing basic technical maintenance, and ensuring smooth and efficient production processes. You’ll actively contribute to ongoing process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Your technical understanding and eagerness to learn are essential, along with a strong motivation to make a meaningful impact on the health of people and animals. You’ll be welcomed into a collaborative team where the onboarding process includes hands-on training with the machines and packaging procedures. Reporting to the Manager Operations, you’ll work according to the ATM shift schedule, which includes night shifts. There are also opportunities for growth and further development within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring automated packaging and production lines for pharmaceutical products.
- Performing machine setups, changeovers, cleaning, and line clearances.
- Maintaining product quality throughout the packaging process.
- Accurately completing documentation, both manually and in SAP, adhering to "First Time Right" standards.
- Identifying and resolving malfunctions and conducting basic first-line maintenance.
- Actively supporting and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma methods.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards at all times
Requirements
- Completed MBO level 2 education, or willingness to obtain it; applicants without this qualification may be assessed via an MBO skills test.??????
- Preferably experience with technical or production processes, ideally in a pharmaceutical packaging environment.
- Solid command of Dutch, with English proficiency being an advantage.
- Strong technical skills and interest in machinery and process operations.
- Accurate, reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently.
- Familiarity with MS Office and SAP is an asset
