Job Description

As a Healthcare Customer Support & Medical Information Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing technical and medical information to healthcare professionals and patients in their local language. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, responding to inquiries via multiple channels, and providing support for secondline content management activities. Your goal will be to ensure continuity and quality of service for customers across all countries, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and implementing process enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, webform, live chat, or postal mail within required timelines and standards
  • Document inquiries and responses accurately and completely, adhering to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory guidelines
  • Identify and report adverse events and product quality complaints within required timelines
  • Provide responses in the customer's local language using approved resources
  • Support therapeutic area teams with secondline activities, including escalation management and content creation
  • Ensure continuity and quality of service for customers across all countries, supporting the Country Relationship Management team
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement process enhancements
  • Represent the Medical Information team in required Pfizer Country Office activities and communicate with Business Units (BUs)
  • Act as a point of contact for other Medical Information staff, ensuring country-specific data is relevant and up-to-date

Requirements

  • Degree in a life science or healthcare field required
  • 1-2 years of medical information or relevant work experience preferred
  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Fluency in English (Other languages are a plus)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
