Job Description
As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for defining and enforcing our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving continuous improvement. You will work closely with the 3PM and NMD teams to ensure that the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the Quality Management System
- Establish and communicate our Quality Policy and Quality Manual, including Quality Objectives, and present QMS updates to key stakeholders as needed
- Align Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of our quality management system
- Ensure all procedures within our QMS are available, compliant with applicable standards and regulations, and implemented, including identifying and closing gaps
- Document, maintain, implement, and review procedures with agreed-upon frequency
- Perform internal and supplier audits, and support the NMD Leadership team in driving a way of working consistent with our QMS objectives and continuous improvement plan
- Manage QMS software systems and tools needed to support the quality management activities
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a medical device regulated environment, with a focus on quality assurance
- Knowledge of EU MDD/MDR and ISO 13485 is a must
- Strong experience in corrective and preventive actions, including root cause analysis, documenting findings/actions, and implementing actions
- Excellent analytical and technical skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong IT skills
