The primary responsibility of the Mechanical Engineer is engineering support for manufacturing operations, technology and systems engineering. The Mechanical Engineer provides technical coverage and support for maintenance and repair of plant and infrastructure components and equipment. Position will receive direction and support.
Job Description:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work on multidisciplinary projects, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will ensure that mechanical aspects of projects are well-supported from concept through execution, with a focus on quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide mechanical engineering support for ongoing projects within the Site Engineering department.

Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to support project delivery.

Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM to develop, review, and update technical drawings and documentation.

Ensure mechanical designs meet technical and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.

Communicate effectively in both Dutch and English, written and verbal.

Act as a proactive team player who can work independently and contribute to group success.
Required Qualifications:

Minimum MBO+ degree in a relevant technical field (preferably Mechanical Engineering / WTB).

At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience in a project-based environment, ideally within pharmaceutical or biotech industries.

Proven hands-on experience with AutoCAD, and familiarity with Revit and BIM tools.

Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written).

Strong proactive attitude, results-oriented, and adaptable.
