About the Position
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on R&D Lab Specialist to support in vitro and cellular research activities within a life sciences laboratory. You will be part of an enthusiastic and collaborative R&D team working on nutrition-related projects that combine science and health. This role is ideal for someone with a background in life sciences who enjoys practical lab work and contributing to research with real-world applications.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and perform experiments using in vitro digestion models and various cell culture systems

Conduct (cell-based) biochemical assays and support molecular biology techniques (e.g., qPCR/dPCR)

Analyze and interpret data, report findings clearly and accurately

Contribute to lab organization, including safety, planning, and maintenance of equipment

Collaborate closely with scientists and other lab technicians across research disciplines
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (HBO/HLO) in Life Sciences or a related field

Hands-on experience in a laboratory environment

Experience with in vitro digestion, cell culture, and microbiology

Comfortable managing and analyzing data independently

Proactive, accurate, and eager to learn

Strong communication skills in English
