Role Description
As a Cost Management Specialist, you will manage and improve the invoice verification process for freight invoices, ensuring timely approvals, accurate reporting, and strong collaboration with supply chain partners and third-party service providers. You will support financial analysis, process optimization, and key business decisions within the Global Distribution Hubs in the EU.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end freight invoice process from receipt to final approval using SAP workflow.
- Manage invoice disputes and ensure prompt resolution with service providers.
- Lead the annual Purchase Order process and maintain accurate financial dashboards and KPIs.
- Provide financial data to support business case development and opportunity identification.
- Conduct regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners, including escalations and process improvements.
- Support logistics managers and internal stakeholders with issue resolution and reporting.
- Manage agreements with supply chain partners related to invoice verification and payment.
- Ensure accurate data delivery to the freight auditing company.
- Execute ordering processes for distribution support materials at third parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or Logistics.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Quick grasp of processes with strong analytical and visualization skills.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Independent, self-motivated, and capable of working under pressure and in teams.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on achieving results.
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP regulations.
