Role Description
As a Junior Support Engineer, role focuses on hands-on operational support within a manufacturing environment. The Support Services Associate is responsible for implementing new technologies, delivering and maintaining IT hardware, and resolving daily shopfloor issues. The position requires a proactive, hands-on mindset and strong collaboration skills within IT/OT teams.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of new technology solutions to improve shopfloor reliability and efficiency
- Assist with system/application patching and updates
- Deliver IT hardware to production and warehouse teams
- Troubleshoot and maintain technology systems (e.g. printers, scanners, BMS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement initiatives
- Document and train users on new tech and system procedures
Requirement
- MBO level with 3 years of experience in information technology within a manufacturing or operations environment, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- Strong understanding of IT applications management and ITIL.
- Background in manufacturing or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
- GMP experience is preferred.
- Windows OS knowledge is a must.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
