About the Role
As a EHS & Construction Engineering Lead, you’ll combine technical safety expertise with hands-on construction supervision. You’ll guide teams on safety best practices, oversee site activities during project execution, and help maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and improve safety systems, processes, and standards across the site

Coach and develop teams to strengthen safety culture and practices

Conduct safety risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations

Supervise daily construction activities, managing teams of contractors and suppliers

Ensure safety compliance, quality assurance, and effective communication with stakeholders
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field
-
7+ years of experience in construction management, civil/ Mechanical engineering, or related areas
-
Knowledge of safety standards, such as ISO14001, and experience with EHS compliance
-
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
-
Proficiency in Dutch is a plus!
