Role Description
Our client is looking for a proactive and hands-on EHS Specialist / Construction Supervisor to join their Engineering and Maintenance team. This dual-role opportunity allows you to champion safety programs while overseeing major construction initiatives in a regulated, high-tech environment.
Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of site safety protocols.

Act as the go-to expert for technical safety systems across engineering teams.

Conduct field-level supervision of construction activities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Manage subcontractors, vendors, and daily construction operations.

Coordinate safety permits, documentation, and training.

Perform audits, risk assessments, and compliance checks.

Partner with stakeholders to drive EH&S performance and awareness.

Provide coaching and mentorship on safety standards and procedures.
Requirements
-
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or related discipline.

7+ years of relevant experience in technical safety and construction management.

Proven ability to manage contractors and projects in a GMP or high-compliance environment.

Familiarity with ISO standards and environmental safety frameworks.

Strong communication and leadership skills across diverse teams.
-
Fluency in English and Dutch is a plus.
