 Role Description

We’re supporting our client in finding a Logistics Shift Manager who thrives in structured, high-output environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams while introducing smarter, leaner ways of working within logistics operations.

 Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations during shift, including warehousing and distribution.

• Lead a logistics shift team of 20–25 employees, driving daily performance.

• Ensure quick resolution and documentation of operational issues or disruptions.

• Participate in daily performance meetings and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

• Drive workforce planning, engagement, and performance tracking.

• Ensure execution aligns with WCOM methodologies and safety standards.

• Monitor compliance, housekeeping, and operational discipline within logistics.

• Build effective working relationships across departments to ensure process alignment.

Requirements

• Higher education background (HBO level), preferably in logistics or supply chain.

• Minimum of 3 years in a logistics/production leadership role.

• Previous experience in the food industry is highly desirable.

• Proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP systems.

• Solid knowledge of Lean, WCOM, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies.

• Capable of balancing day-to-day operations with strategic improvements.
