About the Role

As an Electronic Maintenance Technician, you are the go-to expert during your shift for resolving electrical and electronic faults. You work independently on the shop floor, directly supporting production by keeping systems running and responding quickly to breakdowns. Your close working relationship with machine operators and your coordination with other technicians through internal communication tools ensures rapid, effective problem-solving.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, technically advanced environment and has strong experience in troubleshooting electronic systems.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electronic and electrical faults on production equipment

  • Interpret and work from P&ID diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical manuals

  • Perform maintenance and support activities related to electrical switchgear, sensors, and automation elements

  • Keep detailed records of breakdowns, repairs, and solutions

  • Work closely with production operators to minimize equipment downtime

  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to day-shift or specialist teams

Requirements

  • MBO Level 4 in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics

  • Valid NEN 3140 certification (mandatory)

  • Solid hands-on experience with fault-finding in industrial electrical systems

  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced production environment

  • Ability to interpret complex electrical and technical documentation

  • Familiarity with automation (e.g., PLCs, sensors, SCADA) is a strong advantage

  • No prior food industry experience required – candidates from similar industries (e.g., steel, automotive, chemical) are welcome
