The Role
As a Business Development Associate for North Europe, you will support the business in expanding its presence across the Netherlands and Nordic markets, with a focus on modern trade, low-end retail, and ethnic channels. This full-time role is based in Europe and reports to the Business Development Manager. It’s a great opportunity for a commercially minded and driven individual with a passion for growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
-Assist in identifying and onboarding new distributors within the assigned regions
-Support go-to-market strategies aimed at expanding presence across all retail channels
-Collaborate with retail partners to introduce new product innovations across multiple categories
-Conduct market research and analyze competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities
-Prepare presentations, business proposals, and performance reports
-Monitor sales performance, provide insights, and propose improvements
-Coordinate with internal teams to ensure flawless execution of business plans
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders
-Stay up to date with market trends and competitor movements
Requirements
-1–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing (internships included)
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is preferred
-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends
-Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
-Proactive mindset with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach
-Basic understanding of supply chain processes and commercial operations
