The Company 
The client is the biggest Dutch dairy distributor and dairy products manufacturer that is active worldwide.   

Role Description
We are seeking an experienced interim professional to lead the development, implementation, and documentation of ARIE (Additional Risk Inventory and Evaluation) obligations at our Steenderen site. This role is critical for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and improving operational safety standards. The assignment is temporary, spanning 3 to 6 months with potential for extension, and requires regular on-site presence. 

Responsibilities 

• Assessing the status of ARIE implementation at the location.
• Designing and enhancing the ARIE management system to align with regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing the practical rollout of the system on-site.
• Preparing and maintain ing documentation, reports, and communication materials regarding progress.
• Collaborating closely with departments such as Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), Operations, Maintenance, and Technology.
• Supporting interactions with external regulatory bodies or inspectors as needed 

Requirements 

• Proven experience with BRZO or ARIE-related compliance in industrial settings.
• Background in production environments; experience in the food sector is a plus.
• Solid understanding of hazardous substances and their associated risks (e.g., ammonia, acids).
• Strong practical approach and excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to be on-site several days per week (hybrid work may be discussed).
• Preferred qualification in safety management or a related field (e.g., HVK)
