Role Description

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their multidisciplinary product development team. You'll contribute to the design, prototyping, and validation of grooming devices that reach consumers around the globe, playing a key role in shaping the next generation of beauty and shaving solutions.

 Responsibilities

• Design and model mechanical parts and systems for grooming devices using 3D/2D CAD.

• Select and validate materials and manufacturing methods (plastic/metal, tooling design).

• Translate product requirements into functional concepts and testable prototypes.

• Lead or participate in FMEA, test planning, and verification activities.

• Collaborate across engineering disciplines and with offshore development partners.

• Create and archive engineering documentation and design files using PLM systems.

• Drive product innovation by leading ideation sessions and concept development.

• Implement continuous improvement practices within the mechanical engineering team.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3–5 years’ experience in product development.

• Skilled in 3D CAD software (Siemens NX or CREO) and mass production principles.

• Knowledge of DFM, DFA, and plastic/metal manufacturing processes.

• Hands-on experience creating prototypes and conducting mechanical testing.

• Familiar with FEA/CFD tools (e.g. Ansys) and engineering analysis techniques.

• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills.
