The facility specializes in the manufacturing of fluoropolymers, including Teflon™ and Viton™, which are essential components in various industries such as electronics, clean energy, and healthcare.
Role Description
As a Lab Technician you will be part of a small team working in a 5-shift rotation. You’ll perform routine physical analyses to monitor and maintain the quality of semi-finished and finished polymer products. Working in a specialized laboratory environment, you'll use modern, well-maintained analytical equipment and play a key role in ensuring product quality and process control.
Responsibilities
- Independently performing (mostly automated) physical analyses following established procedures.
- Interpreting and evaluating analysis results and quality standards.
- Reporting findings and handling related administrative tasks.
- Conducting basic preventive maintenance and first-line troubleshooting on lab equipment.
- Escalating deviations to senior technicians, analysts, or supervisors.
- Contributing to safety, quality control, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with analysts and production teams, showing initiative when quality deviations occur.
Requirements
- Completed secondary laboratory education (MLO level 2 or 3) or equivalent.
- Some experience with physical-analytical techniques (internship experience is acceptable).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently in a 5-shift system and collaborate within a small team.
- Service-minded and customer-focused attitude.
- Able to multitask effectively, even under pressure.
- Precise and orderly work approach.
- Proficient in written and spoken Dutch.
