Role description
As a Lab Technician, you'll work in a unique laboratory environment as part of a small team operating in a 5-shift system. Your main responsibility will be to perform routine physical-analytical tests to monitor the production process. You’ll handle a broad range of samples, from intermediates to final polymer products, using modern, well-maintained analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform (mostly automated) physical analyses following work instructions
• Evaluate and interpret analytical results
• Analyze reference standards
• Report results and handle related administrative tasks
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance or first-line troubleshooting on lab equipment
• Contribute to safety, quality, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Escalate deviations to senior lab staff or supervisors

• MLO level 2–3 (Secondary Laboratory Education) or equivalent
• Some experience with physical-analytical techniques (internship experience is acceptable)
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to work independently within a 5-shift team
• Service- and customer-oriented mindset
• Strong multitasking skills, even under time pressure
• Accurate and tidy working style
• Good command of Dutch, both spoken and written
