Role Description
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the end-to-end development of grooming and beauty appliances, such as shavers, epilators, and OneBlade systems. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating mechanical components and systems from concept through to mass production, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality consumer products.

Responsibilities

  • Design and detail mechanical components and systems according product requirements, including conducting predictive analysis and calculations.
  • Select materials (metal and plastics) and processes appropriate for those designs.
  • Detail 3D and 2D files incorporating Design for (mass) Manufacturing and Design for Assembly requirements.
  • Manage product requirements, lead DFMEAs and follow the v-model methodology.
  • Lead ideations sessions, drive concept creation and decision making.
  • Plan and prioritize your own work and manage the interfaces with other modules/parts - able to work via agile approach.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Science Engineering, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in mechanical product development for mass production
  • Proven experience in working within international, multidisciplinary project teams (preferably in a B2C environment)
  • Strong hands-on, proactive attitude with excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software, particularly Siemens NX and/or CREO
  • Familiar with state-of-the-art development techniques and best practices in mechanical design
