Laboratory Technician I (A1) - 5 Shifts, ZUID HOLLAND, Dordrecht

Role Description
As a Lab Technician, you will work in a unique laboratory environment, performing routine physical analyses in a 5-shift rotation to monitor production processes. You will handle a broad range of analyses, from intermediate products to final polymer products, using modern, well-maintained equipment such as:
-GC (Gas Chromatography)
-XRF (X-ray Fluorescence)
-FTIR (Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy)
-Color measurement
-Residue determination
-Particle size analysis
-You will collaborate with analysts and production teams, and a proactive approach is expected when deviations occur.

Responsibilities
-Performing (mostly automated) physical analyses following work instructions.
-Evaluating and interpreting analysis results.
-Analyzing standards and controls.
-Reporting results and performing administrative tasks.
-Conducting basic preventive maintenance and first-line troubleshooting of lab equipment.
-Handling tasks related to safety, quality, inventory management, and continuous improvement.
-Escalating deviations to a B-level Lab Technician, Lab Analyst, or Lab Supervisor.

Qualifications
-MLO level 2-3 (secondary laboratory school) or equivalent.
-Some experience with analytical physical analysis techniques is preferred (can also be via an internship).
-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
-Ability to work independently in a 5-shift rotation within a small team.
-Service- and customer-oriented mindset.
-Capable of multitasking under time pressure.
-Precise and meticulous work approach.
-Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written).

Requirement 
- Able to work shift  (5-team rotation).
-Lab experience preferred (GC, XRF, FTIR, etc.).
-Dutch fluency mandatory.
-Teamwork + independence needed.
