Our client is a leading international food production company with a strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Their production site in Steenderen operates under strict safety and environmental guidelines and plays a vital role in delivering high-quality food products while maintaining a safe workplace.
Role Description
Our client is looking for an experienced interim ARIE Specialist to support the site’s safety team with the further development, implementation, and assurance of the ARIE management system. You will be key in ensuring compliance with ARIE obligations, working closely with multiple internal stakeholders to maintain a safe production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the current status of ARIE implementation at the site
- Further develop and implement the ARIE management system
- Maintain documentation, reports, and communication on progress
- Collaborate with SHE, operations, maintenance, and technology departments
- Support interactions with competent authorities as needed
- Proven experience with ARIE or BRZO-related laws and regulations
- Experience in a production environment, preferably in the food industry
- Knowledge of hazardous substances and related risks, such as ammonia and acids
- Hands-on approach and strong stakeholder management skills
- Availability to work on-site several days per week
- Preferably a completed education in safety science (HVK) or similar
Time commitment: 3–5 days per week (in consultation)
Work format: On-site (hybrid possible upon agreement)
